At the 1975 Paris Auto Show, Porsche debuted its first 911 Turbo. This version of the 911 was the top of the range and was called the 930 internally. As soon as the 911 Turbo appeared on the scene, its wide track and legendary rear spoiler served as its distinguishing features. 911 Turbo S is 40 horsepower faster than the standard 911 Turbo model in the current generation. Originally, the Porsche 911 Turbo came with a 3.0-liter engine producing 260 horsepower and mated to a four-speed manual transmission. As of 1978, Porsche revised the 911 Turbo with a larger 3.3-liter turbocharged engine that provided 300 hp with a 300 PS rating. Following that, turbocharged versions of every subsequent 911 generation have been available. The Porsche 911 Turbo reaches a top speed of 180mph.
